WinRAR 32-bit Download: download.cnet.com/WinRAR-32-bit/3000-2250_4-10007677.html
WinRAR 64-bit Download: download.cnet.com/WinRAR-64-bit/3000-2250_4-10965579.html
After that, download the .zip file from DropBox.
Once that downloads, open the file with WinRAR.
From there, open the folder by double clicking it, and you'll see this screen.
Let's start with the first folder, exports. Open it by double clicking it.
Once you see this screen, press ctrl and a at the same time. Everything should become selected. If not, right click and select the option "Select All" from there.
Once everything is selected (all the files should be highlighted with blue), click "Extract To".
A screen will pop up, and you'll want to choose the C: drive, or wherever your FeralHeart folder is.
After selecting and double clicking your FeralHeart folder, you should see an exports folder.
Select it, and click OK.
If a screen asks you if you want to replace files, you'll need to click "Yes" or "Yes to All"
After that, click the small arrow to go back to the other folders.
Next, double click the sounds folder.
Again, select everything there and click "Extract To".
Once the screen pops up, go back to your FeralHeart folder.
From there, under exports should be "media".
Double click that.
Then, click the "sounds" folder.
Finally, click OK and the files will transfer.
Click the small arrow again.
Double click on the textures folder. Select the file(s), and click "Extract To" one final time.
Then, go back to your FeralHeart folder, and open the media folder again.
This time, go to "terrains".
There should be a textures folder located in there somewhere. (NOTICE: Your terrains folder shouldn't look exactly like mine.)
Click the textures folder, and click OK one final time.
CONGRATULATIONS, THE MAP SHOULD NOW BE INSTALLED AND IS
NOW ACCESSIBLE BY CAPE OF DISTANT WORLDS. |

Shift Rankings
RANK INFORMATION
LIEGE: The most powerful individual among the Shifts, the Liege is the leader of the entire group. Once a Liege dies, the council used to select battlers for the Skirmish selects a new one.
GENERALS: Similar to Scape Commanders, Generals are right under the Liege and typically control an aspect of the Shifts.
OFFICERS: Typically Shifts are Officers, and they are assigned to a General who organizes their day to day assignments.
CADETS: Those too inexperienced to be Officers yet too old to be Progeny are trained by an Officer, a General, or possibly the Liege.
ELDERS: Those who have grown too old to be on active duty are trained in the medicinal and healing arts in order to still be of use to the Shifts.
PROGENY: Unlike the Scapes, parents raise their children in the Shifts and the Elders are practiced in healing. While a Shift is in the Progeny stage, parents are excluded from their duties and are tasked with preparing their child for their future duties. IDEAS © CHION OF THE SHIFTS |

RANK INFORMATION
CHIEF: The highest ranked individual among the Scapes, the chief is the leader of them all. Hereditary inheritance means that only the sons or daughters of the past chieftain can rise to power (unless none exist, in which case a vote is taken to bring a commander into power as the chief).
COMMANDERS: A step under the Chief, the commanders are the chief's second in commands and usually each are in charge of some aspect of the Scapes.
DEPUTIES: The normal ranking for a Scape, the Deputies serve the Commanders and are usually placed in a squadron under a certain Commander.
TRAINEES: The Scapes still in training are classified as Trainees and can be trained by one Deputy, one Commander, or even the Chief if they're extremely lucky.
RETIRED: The Scapes who are too old or injured to be of further use retired and take care of the offspring.

Well, sit down and I'll tell you the rumor that every single inhabitant of the Crescent believes. [break][break] Rumor has it that long ago the Scapes and the Shifts were actually one big group called the Tablis. The ruler of the Tablis kept things peaceful between the present day Scapes and Shifts. However, during a disastrous summer storm, the life of the ruler was lost. It was up to her two second-in-commands to decide who would lead the Tablis in her stead. Of course, as nature decreed long ago, greed overwhelmed the both of them and they both wanted to ascend to the throne. [break][break] The more cunning of the two, Calimir, was favored by those who became the Shifts. The warrior who enjoyed combat, Tilivar, was favored by those who became the Scapes. They sliced the Crescent in half, and that was that. For a few years, anyway. [break][break] After some time passed, Calimir and Tilivar became restless, always wondering if the other planned to attack. This led to uncharacteristic jumpiness, and the region was quickly thrown back into turmoil as the two eventually succumbed to the temptation of total domination. And that's where the hatred between the Scapes and the Shifts originated. [break][break]

SKIRMISHES

the honor of a lifetime
[attr="class","petit"] [break] [attr="class","petitcontent"] [attr="class","petitcontentstyle"] [attr="class","petitfirstletter"]S kirmishes marked the end of a dark time, and the beginning of a more peaceful one. As peaceful as can be expected, that is. From the ashes of constant wars fought between the entirety of the Shifts and the Scapes came a more civilized approach. Instead of a full-out war, there will only be a duel. Every month the inhabitants of the Shifting Forest and the Moonscape compete with their groupmates in order to be chosen for that month's Skirmish. The battler is chosen by an elite counsel in each group made up of the leader and 2-6 of their chosen subordinates on the 3rd of the month. [break][break] Once a battler for each side is chosen, they have one week to prepare themselves for the task ahead of them. On the 10th of the month, they're pitted against the chosen battler of the rivaling side. They then fight to the death, or until the match is stopped. If you win, you're immediately boosted to the highest rank under leader in your group for you valiant efforts. If you lose, you're just thrown back into the roster for next time (if you survive). [break][break] The reward for being the group with the winning battler is quite vast. The leader gains more political authority than the other, and the group gains a chunk of the loser's territory. If the opponent has no more territory to give, then they must leave the lands. This is the ultimate goal of the two groups. [break][break]
