RANK INFORMATION
LIEGE: The most powerful individual among the Shifts, the Liege is the leader of the entire group. Once a Liege dies, the council used to select battlers for the Skirmish selects a new one.
GENERALS: Similar to Scape Commanders, Generals are right under the Liege and typically control an aspect of the Shifts.
OFFICERS: Typically Shifts are Officers, and they are assigned to a General who organizes their day to day assignments.
CADETS: Those too inexperienced to be Officers yet too old to be Progeny are trained by an Officer, a General, or possibly the Liege.
ELDERS: Those who have grown too old to be on active duty are trained in the medicinal and healing arts in order to still be of use to the Shifts.
PROGENY: Unlike the Scapes, parents raise their children in the Shifts and the Elders are practiced in healing. While a Shift is in the Progeny stage, parents are excluded from their duties and are tasked with preparing their child for their future duties.
